TAX DAY TEA PARTY

Ordtalk goes to Grand Island for a little Protest

Ordtalk went to the Grand Island Tax Day Tea Party on April 15th and it was all that it was advertised to be and more! There were no politicians there, just grassroots folks with a legitimate gripe against wasteful spending in government and higher taxes. The numbers ranged between 350 and 450 attendees, (some of them even from Ord!) We have our own Joe the Plumber in a man that spoke most eloquently on the military and higher taxes not to mention that little Homeland Security Embarrassment over "Right Wing Extremists". ACORN even had its own represenative there, see if you can find him in the videos! All in all, it was a fantastic day and we can look forward to more of the same in the near future. The next National Tax Day Tea Party is scheduled for July 4th, should be a blast. Some of the video is a little hard to hear through the wind noise, but try to enjoy it anyway!
