Soldier In Afghanistan Uses Local Business Products to Restore Antique Helmets
Diego Andrade, a soldier from Florida stationed in the Kandahar region uses liners manufactured by Prairie Flower Leather Co. to restore antique military helmets found in the bazaars of Afghanistan. Click link below for the full story.
Pflco products can currently be found in 63 different countries, all fifty US states and three US territorys. The liners have found their way to such places as the Imperial War Museum in London, the Imperial German War Museum, Berlin and the Imperial Russian Museum in Moscow. A large number of government run museums in the US have also purchased Pflco helmet liners for their collections and also for the large numbers of WWI and WWII re-enactors and living history enthusiasts that frequent their grounds. Liners have also been purchased by movie companies and Prairie Flower Leather Companys products can be seen in such movies as "A Bear Named Winnie", "Wolverine", "The Strange Case of Benjamin Button" and any and or all of the documentaries seen on the History Channel that deal with World War I or early World War II.
