Several States are Planning to Graduate students two years in Advance.

Not because those students are extra smart, but because of public educations failure to advance those students eductionally past the tenth grade. This is also part of the "School to Work" programs instituted by many schools even here in Nebraska.

The US Educational system is no longer interested in turning out scientists, doctors or researchers, but is concentrating more on "workers". We've heard it in our own school board meetings and now several states are taking it to the next level. True, not everyone is cut out for higher education, but to turn those bright young minds into worker drones for the collective is just one more step in the dumbing down of America.

Dozens of public high schools in eight states will introduce a program next year allowing 10th graders who pass a battery of tests to get a diploma two years early and immediately enroll in community college.

It is absolutely golden that the School Board is concerned about the Property Tax burden they have shoveled onto the heads of District Taxpayers because of their need to "Keep up with the Jones'" But, oh well, whats a few Million dollars compared to the TRILLIONS that our Federal Govt. has shackled us with. The kids and grandkids will be paying off this and other Progressive big Govt. spending for the rest of their lives. Just another brick in the wall.
