Memorial Day Services 2009

Memorial Day services were held again this year on the East side of the Cemetery at 10:30 am. The American Legion and VFW along with the Womens Auxiliary and Community Band all contributed to the program. The guest speaker was Luke Zanger who spoke about freedom and the flag. The crowd seemed smaller that usual this year but those who were there listened attentively to the speaker and the band. A Bar-B-Que lunch was served for veterans and their families at the Vets Club following the service. It was well attended and enjoyed by all.

Note: Ordtalks sincerest apologies to the Honor Guard, the camera ran out of battery just about the time you fired the salute. We’ll get it next year….
