Is Burwell the red headed step child of Ord?

Hmmm, I wonder.

Did you know that Terry Cone is on the Valley County Hospital Foundation Board.

He is also on the Burwell City Council, as well as on the Community Memorial Health Systems Board. Which he is up for renewal on this board. Their meeting is Jan. 26th at the Sr. Center...

On the contrary. It must be lonely where you are.

Rumor has it that Burwell ED is under the mighty direction and long fingers of the ORD ED. So saddddd.

After the apparent goings on it appears to be almost confirmed, the jury might be hung...

It does look like ED director has made a fool out of the whole town, along with her board.
Got her back pay, and now she is gone within a matter of a few days. You know she worked quite closely with our old ED director, we could never quite figure that one out. I think maybe you might want to consider that idea again before you make that kind of dangerous decision.

Well, Burwell, you were duped again, 1st by the ED director, then those that were campaigning about what a disservice had been done. I am thinking that your old city council looks pretty good right now. But the price one pays.....

Be careful though, because your current mayor has quoted many times, "well Ord does it like this" I'd be running 100 mph in the opposite direction.

Good Luck.

Some might say whatever it took to get her gone is OK.
But then you think who is on the city council and who the mayor is, you think...who are they going to "choose" to be the ED director (and why would they want that position?)in Burwell...let's take a moment and ponder that thought shall we.

I want to thank the past Burwell City Council and Mayor Sondag. I beleive they did a good job and their hearts were in the right spot, "for their neighbors". Did you all know that Mayor Sondag's salary went to a scholarship fund? I am challenging the new mayor to do the same. You already receive rather a large salary from the Public Health Department and just gave yourself a raise. That information can be confirmed in their board minutes. You can show the community how much you care. Be a leader!

To the new city council, prove you are there for your community and not personal gain. We are all watching. So far the "ED" issue puts you down -1.

Let's try and do better this time around.

AMEN! I will second that!
