irish one the answer to number one, I wouldn't necessarily call it a meeting. While I was uptown, I ran into one of the board members and we discussed the latest doins with bigmug. The following day, I seen another board member, who had spoken with the first board member. The jist of the conversations was that they realize we have a problem, and that they are working to try to resolve them, and they would like me to give them a chance to work them out. This was more of an expression of different thoughts. number two, yes. number three, I wasn't planning on it, but it sure is a good idea.

Lawman - Tuesday, March 17 2009 at 10:34pm

Irish one............my mistake...apparantly you work with Big Mug.
Yout post from March 9 8:57PM

This is a great blog. Rock, my husband & I just figured out who you are. I have figured out who bigmug is too. How appropriate! (lol) Rock,we both give you two thumbs up. This kind of stuff in the city has been going on forever. It has only been lately, that someone has called them on it. Hubby says get ur done. Those of us that have to work with big mug, are totally ashamed and embarassed because of him.

rock - Tuesday, March 17 2009 at 10:35pm

lawman if you think bigmug was setup, then you are probably as incompetent of a lawman as our former chief of police. If bigmug was setup, it was probably the former lawman that he was sitting with on top of the hill, the night bigmug got turned in. After all, why should the former police chief be forced to resign, and bigmug not.

Lawman - Tuesday, March 17 2009 at 10:38pm

Irish one...............your post from March 13 8:41pm
Now I am confused.........you work with both of them?

Lawman- I work with this one city council member rock is talking about, and it's not by choice. There is not many ways to describe someone like that. Calling a spade, a spade. It's my understanding after talking to them, many of the other board members know what Rock has said to be true, but there's nothing they can do about it. So they must work with what they have. I'm sure they would just as soon that the person would resign too.

Lawman - Tuesday, March 17 2009 at 10:45pm

Rock............where did I say anything about Big Mug being setup......I said I should only drink Kool Ade so I wouldnt be the next one setup....And how would you know what I was referring to....Don't get me started.....you won't like it....I have been nice to you........sort of....

jab_gone - Tuesday, March 17 2009 at 10:49pm

Rock-I have figured out who Bigmug is that you are talking about-my question to you is- do you really have the proof to back it up because it is down right wrong to excuse people like you are if you, yourself don't have solid proof. I find it a little hard to believe that if Bigmug is the person I think he is that he could be doing and selling drugs. Doesn't he hold a governmemt job? I do believe that government jobs require random drug test & if he is and you have all this proof then why haven't you contacted the State Patrol or are they in on it too?

lawman to big mug tuesday march 17 2009 3:40 "bigmug ...only kool ade or i will be the next one set up!!!! "if that does not indicate that you believe big mud was set up ,then you need to clarfy if you can. "dont get you started, i wont like it" you have to come down off the hill to get to the starting gate if you can find it,if you can bring it on ...former law man

rock - Tuesday, March 17 2009 at 11:38pm

jab gone, yes, he holds a government job. No, they do not do random drug tests, only in the event of an accident. Yes, it would be very wrong to accuse anyone of such horrible things as selling drugs or using them if they were not true. There is supporting affadivits to these events. Yes, the state patrol is investigating into things,as well as other agencies.

Lawman,

thanks for the address, I will try it a little later
I have been away from Ord for sometime, would you please tell me who is on the city board. If I know these people, maybe I could figure out who you are talking about.
I am also trying to figure out who all the players are on this blog.
I haven't even been in the Y'all Come Back Saloon. I may have to check this out the next time I come back to Ord. Does Doughit still own it? I remember the ole pool hall there, I beleave that is the same spot. That pool hall was owned by attorney Cronk step father. As my Dad would say, alot of nickel beers were sold to send him through school.

I beleave it is 8 more days to spring ball starts

thanks

rock,
If you would like to see what I am talking about also attend hospital meetings, school board meetings, etc. They conduct their meetings with everything decided beforehand as I have said. They have done things this way for a long time because they don't really want us to know how they formulate their decisions. Thus lack of transparency. It takes extensive effort and public input to change any of these predecided actions. The meetings on the school bond issue is a good example. The bond was on the fast track to being passed and shoved down our throats until major public awareness and action derailed it. To let it be known, the city, and county officials have been trained on this. The ones that have not been trained are manipulated into thinking it is their choice to move forward on the issues.
I don't necessarily subscribe to conspiracy theories but do believe people can be manipulated by a few without their knowing it. Re-read Ellen Novaks post on the Delphi Technique. I have seen it used at many meetings I have attended in Ord.
By the way, the school bond is not dead and punishment is being meaded out to those who opposed the bond. Valleyside school will be closed at the next school board meeting.

Good Fishing Rock!

BIGMUG - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 6:07am

say Lawman do you remember a "Fabrication" company comming to town a few years ago?? I haven't heard anything about that for awhile. Maybe some one should get ahold of Our new Economic Director Mr. Polard and have him look into It . It souned like they were going to employe a LOT of people

rock - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 8:33am

falcon, What I have seen on the city board,is many of the board members will take the word of one board member on an issue without checking it out.I just seen this done on the police communication issue. One city broad member attend one meeting with the county. It was said that it would be cheaper for the city to go with region 26 then to stay with the county. I think this will prove to be wrong, considering that the city will be paying for the volume of calls. My own opinion is, this one single board member, wants to keep the police communications with region 26, and not the county so he can contiune to monitor the police bands and beforewarned as he was a little over a week ago, after being reported for DUI.

Lawman - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 9:27am

Rock...........Fact check.........
The former chief was not forced to resign.........You are pathetic....Get your stuff right.

jab_gone - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 9:32am

Rock- but do you have solid proof that Bigmug was beforewarned about a report for DUI and if so how do you know this without someone leaking information to you? Which if that is the case is only hearsay? I will ask also, what crime has Bigmug broken by having drinks after work and being on the City Council? I agree with you that it doesn't look good and not a wise choice.
Falcon-I will ask you the same question, what solid on the proof do you have that this indeed happans on the hospital board and school board meetings? And who is they? and to your statement on valleyside-you can thank the people in Lincoln on that on.

Lawman - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 9:58am

BigMug..........................there has been alot of "FABRICATION" on here lately.

Both started by the same person.

rock - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 10:08am

jab gone, the answer to both of your questions is he told this to the law enforcement officers himself. Leaking information, no big mud was the one who made the allegation that he is being set up by me, for reporting him to 911 after seeing him staggering in the street, getting into his pickup start it, giving every indication that he ia about to DUI. He also alleged that people are out to get him. Not surprizing that its everboby elses fault. He has not broken any laws by having a few drinks after work, only when those few drinks cause you to be staggering, the law says,no driving. I dont think the folks of the city of Ord want the image of an elected official staggering in the street

rock - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 11:11am

lawman, you know the facts, as well as I. My January letter to the board stating the reasons why they need to pursue the resignation of the police chief, put focus on the problems with the police department that letter as you know was sent 2 weeks prior to the chief of police before the board members received their copies, and as you know that copy stated that it was nothing personal. The rest, you did by yourself. The police chief get arrested by the Nebraska State Patrol was his own doing, but now others are getting the blame for that too. Another setup?? Hardly so. Howver, the resignation came about, the city of Ord is the benefactor, as it is now promised to get competent officers. I maybe pathetic, but your out of a job, is that a fabrication?

falcon - Wednesday, March 18 2009 at 11:26am

jab_gone,

To answer your questions, it is quite evident from previous posts that you do not attend any board meetings. Yes there is solid proof that this indeed happens. How can a board act on something with no discussion or previous mention of it in the minutes of the previous meetings? A person needs to attend meetings and be around them for many years to understand the structure of boards and how they work.
As to who "they" are......... It is quite evident that "they" are the board members.
As far as Valleyside goes, this board will just pass the buck to the state. Right now there is no law on the books to close the class 1 schools. The local school board has total control of what happens to the class 1's.
